Any other football fans here? What is your favorite Team/Club/Player? Will you go to the European Championship next year?

futebol :-)
Ha there's one over here
My childhood was dominated by la pelota...used to play in team, but stopped because of the usual mix (no chance of playing a lot because of favouritism, money, drinking and smoking ) allthough i played one year in belgian forth division when i was 18 (way back in time )
These days i only play at work...i work in refugee center for minors and at least one time a week we play...which i like very much! Different people, different backgrounds, all together on a field just for fun!!
I used to go and watch matches when i was younger. My team at that time was FC Brugge (not anymore).
But i stopped going because of ticketprices and all-seated stadions.
I still "follow" results and matches (most of the time at my work i know nice job, don't have tv on my own)
Now i am more interested in the - let's say - social aspect, especially the fans, so i like teams like St.Pauli, Rayo Vallecano, Livorno and of course La Boca!
If i had the chance would go to see some match of these teams
Here in Belgium there is one team who can match them a bit, it's Standard Liege, so they have my sympathy...
And i guess off course you know about FC Che Sudaka
Please tell me about your team(s)
Salud y agur

Re: Football?
I have a season ticket for my local football team, Hannover 96, and I do like St. Pauli, too.
In January they will play St. Pauli in Hamburg, so I can see them both
My favorite player of Hannover is Robert Enke, Favorite german player maybe Thorsten Frings.
Last year we had so much fun watching the World Cup games in the public viewing areas. Sorry Argentina, stupid setlist, should have been the final
Tell me more about FC Che Sudaka, I saw something on the DVD but don't know much about it!

Re: Football?
My favorite team of course is one of the oldest German football teams: TSV 1860 München. Founded 1860 the "lions" are located in Munich near where I live. I can remember being in the stadium as a little boy when they last won the German championship. So it is true what is said: Once a lion, forever a lion. This for sure can not be said about a pathetic Munich team, who's name I forgot ....
Hannover 96 will have no chance when both teams meet next near - either in the first or the second German league

Re: Football?
hahaha, mmm I guess I won't bore you with my sports.
oh well, I will just beceause you are also talking about soccer.
I do horseriding for about 12 years now. It's mostly dressage beceasue I wanna know the basics really well, but I really want to know how to jump properly, didn't have the right horse for it yet though. It's great fun but I guess it's just as hard to convince you guys horseriding is, as you guys convincing me soccer is.
Also I started wakeboarding this summer. I was very busy so I only had the chance to go twice but I allready made a bend behind the boat the second time and I got over the wave the boat makes once. I don think that's something to be proud of if you only did it for 30 minutes in total. I don't have any other sports I'm really interested in, well, gymnastics are fun to watch. damn, I'm such a girlygirl when it comes to sports.
I just have an expensive taste if you think that a private horseriding lessons is about 15 euro an hour and 15 minutes wakeboarding is like 30 euro's. maybe I should play chess(or soccer a ball isn't that expensive right?)

horse riding
Once I did in Whales.
The horse was verry tame, because he did that all the time.
I felt a bit sorry for him/her.
It was nice though.
We drove into the mountains. Verry pretty.
So I can understand your enthusiasm.
Jumping I never did!!!
